This is (as are all Elizabeth Bradley Design’s pieces) a high quality beautifully put together piece. Even on the large mesh-which is a dream to stitch-there is lots of detail in each animal! It comes quickly and is boxed well with great instructions. I’m preparing my threads now and am looking forward to many hours of enjoyable stitching!
This is my tenth Elizabeth Bradley project. This is the biggest one I have stitched. The packaging is nice and wool organized well. However, it would be very helpful if there was a bundle of wool for each square versus lots of wool bundles to sort through. Would like the option to purchase wool for finishing since I will be doing the finishing myself. Also, I will have to give the recipient of the rug the little book so they know the animals. Some of the animals are very obscure and almost unheard of. As someone else said - not your barnyard animals.
Colors are outstanding and everything is so perfectly organized can’t wait to finish this project

The quality of the design, canvas and thread surpassed any needlepoint canvas/kit I have purchased! I have enjoyed many projects but the quality here was best! I, however, have never done the Victorian cross stitch needle point and even though it was a simple stitch I had difficulty with beginning and ending the rows. And doing the design I am ashamed to admit. I ended up doing basketweave stitch. It’s turning out nice but I can see how the Victorian stitch would be so much better.
Love all things Elizabeth Bradley. I have made 3 large rugs some if the smaller rugs AND sewn them together myself. Consider myself and expert at this by now.

The oak box is really nice quality. I needed to play around with it a bit to stretch the tapestry and then add another 2 rows on one side but once I did that it went in beautifully and looks great!
