At least two million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they now face an uncertain future. Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost. Homes have been destroyed or are unsafe to live in. Critical infrastructure such as health facilities, water supplies and schools have also been damaged or destroyed.
At Ukraine's borders with Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova, huge numbers of people are arriving with only what they can carry. In many places there are long waits to cross and scant facilities waiting for them on the other side, with temperatures dropping below freezing overnight. There have also been increasing media reports of racism against people of colour who are being refused access to relief, aid and the right to cross the border safely.
DEC charities are in Ukraine and neighbouring countries meeting the needs of all refugees and displaced people.
These Sunflower designs are 6" x 6" on a 10" x 10" canvas. The kit includes printed canvas measuring 10 holes per inch, chart card, needles, Elizabeth Bradley Tapestry Wool and instructions.

I loved working this sunflower. The canvas and yarn were perfect. Thank you.
I was so happy to learn that some of the proceeds are going to support Ukraine. Was even thrilled that my order for 2 kits was back ordered due to high demand. I have both kits now and am confident they will be appreciated.
Perfect for my Kansas granddaughter ! As well as Ukrainian tribute.
Not only is the kit lovely but the proceeds went to help the Ukranians. I’m almost finished with it and plan on framing it when done. It’s been a pleasure and a solace to work on it.
Beautiful colors and a joy to stitch as I thought of all the people in harm’s way. Prayer for all of them!
