The Chelsea Artist's Garden - Kirk and Bradley for Elizabeth Bradley
The Chelsea Artist's Garden is the 2021 addition to our Kirk and Bradley for Elizabeth Bradley range.
The design is 20" x 15" on 24" x 19" canvas. The Needlepoint Kit is printed on 12 count mono canvas and is supplied complete with a needle, needle threader, Elizabeth Bradley wool, a printed chart, and easy to follow instructions for Basketweave Stitch. This kit comes on a Pale Yellow background colour only.

Was just at the show and decided this would be a fun remembrance piece. So much fun! Tent stitch and lots of pretty colors
This is a beautiful kit, with the usual wonderful combination of colours. It was hard to choose which Chelsea Kit to do first, but what clinched this one for me, is the magnificent tree in the centre and the lovely little, very British field scene under the tree and beyond the tree. Absolute perfection. Also, I do love stitching Basketweave for a change.
I have been doing Elizabeth Bradley Victorian cross stitch for many years and have looked at the Chelsea garden kits wanting to do one but rejected the idea as they are basket weave stitch. The colours are lovely and vibrant. However I eventually gave in and bought the Artists garden. I haven’t finished it but I’ve already got another one ready to go when I have.The printing on canvas is excellent, so accurate. Fast delivery and great help on the end of a telephone. Happy stitcher.

Excellent service
While it seems a bit more expensive, I believe I come out ahead buying this lovely interlock canvas. If you look very closely, you see the fibers are twisted together (unlike mono canvas). This keeps my stitches true and straight. If I use the cross stitch with it, I usually don’t have to block the work when it’s done.
I recently ordered these and find them very useful in my stitching. Since threading the needles is time consuming, I thread up to five needles at a time and am then ready to go on to a concentrated session of contented stitching.
I love making up the 6” kits and mounting them in the oak boxes to give as special occasion gifts. Everyone is so pleased to get them! It’s quick and easy to lace the finished needlepoint onto cardboard and mount it in the lid of the box. I will continue to order these lovely, well made oak boxes.

This kit was the final in a group of four,now I can’t wait to join them all together to make a pillow,all 4 including the Watering can and trellis are so detailed and colorful,sure a pleasure to stitch!
Elizabeth Bradley kits are beautifully presented with superior materials. The designs are precisely printed and the quality wool is superb. I particularly like the Anemone Pitcher kit and chose the pale blue background since the higher contrast highlights the feathery green leaves. Charming design, wonderful kit.
I’m a beginner at needlepoint, but I’m able to make gorgeous tapestries with these kits. At first, I balked at the company’s strong recommendation to use the Victorian cross stitch. But with the video provided, I mastered this stitch easily- and then no blocking was required! I popped my work into a frame and it’s beautiful. This is my second kit. The quality of the wool is great and everything you need is included in a sturdy box with a magnetic closure and a ribbon handle. Highly recommended!
I love this thing. Works so good. I had my yarn on wooden rings in a basket. This organizer makes it so easy to find the color you need.
