I love Elizabeth Bradley tapestry wool. This is a particularly beautiful color - not stark white or a flat neutral. This is a lovely cream, which can provide the glint to a fox's eye or some glittering light to a bird's feathers. I highly recommend having a variety of yarns on hand in case you have pets that like to play with your yarn, or robotic vacuums that pick up errant strands from your work basket!
I have used Appleton wool and silk and ivory for past projects. Just ordered E Bradley wool. Beautiful quality, for 100% wool I will only use EB wool. Seems to be wound tighter.
