I love these starter kits. They are quick to complete. They make great gifts. Easy to make for any beginner. I chose this for a relative’s Christmas gift. They enjoy Cross Stitch. So think they will enjoy making this gift. Previously when I gave a starter kit as a gift. Seeing how beautiful the kit was, I just had to later go & order the same for me. lol Next one I make I am going to turn it into a glasses case. As shown on the EB Blog website.
I did the starter kit to see if I’d like doing needlepoint…before I was finished with it I’d ordered the Parrot Tulip pillow kit! I love how relaxing it is to do!

The quality of the design, canvas and thread surpassed any needlepoint canvas/kit I have purchased! I have enjoyed many projects but the quality here was best! I, however, have never done the Victorian cross stitch needle point and even though it was a simple stitch I had difficulty with beginning and ending the rows. And doing the design I am ashamed to admit. I ended up doing basketweave stitch. It’s turning out nice but I can see how the Victorian stitch would be so much better.
Love all things Elizabeth Bradley. I have made 3 large rugs some if the smaller rugs AND sewn them together myself. Consider myself and expert at this by now.
This kit is made with very high quality items!
The oak box is really nice quality. I needed to play around with it a bit to stretch the tapestry and then add another 2 rows on one side but once I did that it went in beautifully and looks great!

Beautiful canvas and I made a mistake so Elizabeth Bradley replaced a color of yarn that I needed to correct that mistake
